Plasterboarding Cardiff
Good plastering starts with a stable background. Plasterboard provides a clean base for new ceilings, altered rooms and surfaces that are no longer suitable for direct skimming.
A.L.C Plastering installs boards neatly around openings, rooflights and room features, then prepares joints and edges for the finish. The boarding and plastering can be planned together so responsibility stays clear from the base through to the final surface.
Plasterboarding applications
- New ceilings and walls
- Overboarding suitable surfaces
- Dry lining for internal walls
- Repairs after damaged sections are removed
- Boarding around rooflights and openings
- Preparation for full room plastering
Boarding and finish, considered together
The layout, fixings and edges are planned for the room so the plaster coat has a sound and consistent surface beneath it.
